The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) (also known as 2019-nCov, 2019 Novel Coronavirus) has broken out in many countries & infected thousands of people followed by the deaths in some case. Although the death ratio is very low but it still has been considered as one of the major diseases came in-light from Wuhan in China at the end of 2019.

Many countries have already declared it as an international Epidemic & WHO (World Health Organization) as already issues some guidance to stay safe from Coronavirus.

Many businesses, stock markets are affecting due to it. Even leading online players as Google & Facebook has recently released their guidelines for the businesses in Coronavirus affected area for their safe operation.

Change your business hours:

If your business is affected by the Coronavirus & you have changed the operating hours of your business, then you should clearly mention them in your business hours to keep your customer updated.

Manage your information:

If you hold any information about your business in regards to Coronavirus disease (COVID-19, you should share this in your business description area. This is very important for do that. Also, your customers will be more than happy if you show care for them.

Create a post:

You should create weekly posts about your business & share information about the Coronavirus and keep your customer updated about how they can stay safe. You can also share the updates about your products & services if that is also affected by it.

Update your phone number:

If you have launched a new phone number or your business listing do not have it yet, you should update it so that your customer can call you before they visit or order for your services/products.

Facebook says to keep yourself safe & informed about the Coronavirus by following the WHO’s guidelines & your local government’s guidelines and respond quickly to changes that could affect you or your customers.

Stay in touch with your customers:

Keep your customer updated about your business changes & stay in touch with them to show your case towards them. If you have any update to share about the business/ any precaution for the disease, just post it on your page/ share emails/ or on your Instagram page.

Try hosting online events:

Since Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, many governments have advised to not go in the crowd & public gatherings to avoid any infection. Following that, if you were planning for any event then you should host it online instead of public events. That would be great exposure for your business & people will more than happy to join it from their places all around the world.

Prepare a customer service plan:

In order to be responsive and transparent with your customer, sit back & prepare a plan for how you will provide your service to them & handling their requests or questions. Draft templets for the predefined question or the best part are to provide support over Facebook chats, phones.

Provide a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs).

One of the main & best parts is to prepare a list of responses for questions your customer may ask & add them to your website. This would keep your customer engaged with your business & increases their trust in you.
